[Alsa-user] master volume control is in wrong place

Hello, i've the following chipset i845 ac97 ad1981 i'm using snd-intel8x0 the problem is: the master volume and the headphone volume is swapped. i can only control the master volume with the headphone volume. is this a driver or configuration problem ? thanks -Thomas -
