Hi,
Does anyone else have this problem with an USB sound card
(an Audiotrak Maya EX7)? At random times while playing music
the sound stops and in /var/log/syslog I see:
Mar 27 23:03:28 kooka kernel: timeout: still 1 active urbs..

Hi, I'm getting these crashes about once a day. The music just stops for
no obvious reason. I normally have to reboot to get sound working again.
I'm using
Advanced Linux Sound Architecture Driver Version 1.0.2c (Thu Feb 05 15:41:49 2004 UTC).
Compiled on Feb 21 2004 for kernel 2.6.3-1-686.

Clemens, I followed your advice and wrote the following .asoundrc.
The device pcm.main works with aplay, alsaplayer and xmms (without
the mmap option) but

Hi (again)
Can anybody give me a clue to what is going on with my Audiophile USB
and 48000 Hz sound?
Here is my problem: neither alsaplayer nor mplayer will play 48kHz sound
on my Audiophile but aplay will. Why?
% alsaplayer -F 48000 -d plughw:1 --verbose Stairway_To_Heaven.wav

Hi
Can someone please give me some ideas on how to make the
M-Audio Audiophile USB work with Alsa.
Just bought a M-Audio Audiophile USB and am already starting to regret
it (and if i want to try and take it back I'll have to do it soon).
I was looking for a high quality 44.1kHZ and 48kHz D/A USB
