[Alsa-user] Is this soundcard config right

I have two soundcards on my box, one's a PCI based Ensoniq ens1730 and the other is an ISA based ESS Audio Drive es1688. I configured alsa with oss,sequencer for both my cards and used the console based graphical alsamixer to set volumes. It detects my PCI card as does a modprobe snd-card ens1

[Alsa-user] ESS 1688f and ES1730 toghether

I have an ESS 1688f ISA and an ES1730PCI card, i'd like some help on gettin both of them to work on my 2.4.5 Slackware 8 box. Im new to linux and was hoping you guys could help as i was told ALSA is a superior option to OSS. Thanks
