Sound Dudes:
I have an EMU1212M with no audio dock working fine in Win XP Pro but Fedora
12 does not recognize it.
When I run alsamixer, I get one Master Input that is not adjustable.
cat /proc/asound/version
says:
Advanced Linux Sound Architecture Driver Version 1.0.22.1.
Compiled on Apr 4 2010
little confused about the firmware issue. It seems like
upgrading my firmware might effect how my card works in Windows XP.
Right now, my card is working in XP and I don't think that I should
break that functionality.

Hello:
I have a 1212M (firewire) that works fine in XP, but FC8 thinks it is
a Creative Labs SB Audigy. When I try to play the test sound, I get
nothing through the Analog Outputs.
