I have a USB turntable and a Creative EMU10K1 sound card. I can hear system sounds, CDs and DVDs through the EMU10K1. I can record from the USB turntable with arecord (or Audacity) and I can play back the recording with aplay. I cannot just play a record on the turntable and hear it through my
