The only workaround I found was to lauch, before the arecord call, a script
which kills it at the given time.
Has anyone seen the same problem?

and even if it worked, that would not tell me how to use the headset in
audio programs like vlc ( with aplay, -D bluetooth works)

not listed in /proc/asound/cards, but why, as it is recognized by the
kernel, and succesfully paired with blueman-mmanager?
