Problem is rather simple, but none of quick solutions I googled for
fix it. Usually when I record from EWS88MT default device, it gaves me
all 12 channels (nuts, but that's how ALSA is built). However, I
mocked around mixer settings a little bit and now I get just two
channels, propably from i

I actually meant what kind of sample rate is set
I have onboard sound card of ATI fame:
:00:14.2 Audio device: ATI Technologies Inc SB450 HDA Audio (rev 01)
Uses snd-intel-hda module.
