Bonjour,
I think I heard somewhere that you need pulseaudio to output audio via
bluetooth. A quick startpage.com search on "alsa bluetooth audio"
reveals this
https://wiki.debian.org/Bluetooth/Alsa
as first result. Does the information there help perhaps?

I am trying to understand why is there a 'default' PCM device and a
'sysdefault' PCM device on my Debian system? Furthermore, the
libasound2-plugins package installs a usbstream plugin but I can't seem
to find out what it does or why it is needed in the first place.
Thanks for all pointe

Dear Alsa-list,
I had asked this on the Linux-Audio-Users a few days ago but am still
waiting for replies. I figured this question might even better suit this
list here, so please allow me to ask it here again

Hi Alsa-users
I am using a Lenovo X201s under Debian and wonder why I can't seem to
amplify the (minijack) microphone input to be usable with external
microphones.
Alsamixer gives me the following controls for "capture":
Capture
Analog Mic Boost

Hi all, now here is one of the weirdest problems I have come across in
the past years. Actually it is halting my current production even, but
I am primarily interested how this error is caused (and how it can be
solved):
The sampling rate of my RME HDSP Card is set from "Internal 44.1k" to

Hi list,
hdsploader (via hotplug) on my box seems to load firmware at will.
Sometimes it loads the Digiface firmware into my Multiface, sometimes
it loads the correct one.
I suppose I could simply delete the digiface firmware from the path,
but what is it that makes it load the wrong one?
