Hi, I am using the latest alsa (1.0.17) and Fedora 8 on a Dell Vostro 1400 laptop. The only problem I still have is the digital microphone, which sounds really too low. When I select the digital input in alsamixer, the capture volume does not make any difference anymore. more /proc/asound/card
