Hello.
On a Gentoo systemd system, with alsa-restore.service enabled, alsactl
sometimes fails to restore the mixer settings at system boot. Failure

it does nothing.

I've reported this bug two months ago, but there was no reply. I hope
someone here might know what's causing this.
In my ~/.asoundrc I've put:
defaults.pcm.rate_converter "samplerate_best"
in order to get the best possible resampling quality. However, when I do
that, every time I start pla
When I try to go to https://bugtrack.alsa-project.org, I get a "Secure

broken SSL certs, I can bypass this since I get an "Add exception"
button. But for this site, I get no such option. It simply won't let
me go to that site.

Hello.
I've been using a Soundblaster Live 24-bit in the past, and with it I
could select "mix" as the input source in alsamixer (in Windows it was
called "What U Hear", IIRC).
