ALSA documentation and try to do some modifications in code like change
channels to stereo or sampling rate to 44100Hz. But every time program fails.
Can anybody explain me why this is happening?
I have been trying to get an azalia derived onboard HD audio controller
to work under Fedora 10/64-bit using a 2.6.27.9 kernel.
I downloaded alsa-driver 1.0.18 and the modules (for ac97_bus and
hda-intel with realtek-code) built and install fine, but under
/proc/asound I have no cards listed
i occasionally record thru the mic jack using sox or arecord. I would
prefer to avoid using fat GUI apps like audacity (which is great, but)
to perform this simple task; at the same time getting the levels right
makes me feel that i should tune engines by remote wearing a blindfold
