You have to edit /etc/asound.conf:
change
switch("S/PDIF output", false)
to
switch("S/PDIF output", true)
after a alsactl restore the changes take effect.
In your favorite mixer you have to pull the ADC Playback and Wave
Playback up for digital out.
Have fun!
need even in the stable release?
And are the development releases working with kde 2.2? Or have I to
recompile some parts of kde?
