Hi,
I installed mpg123 and mpg123-el for emacs.
When I start Playing with emacs, play starts but I don't hear anything.
After, I must restart alsa with alsactl init, to resume sound.
I can't see any error or warning. All seems to work, but sound is gone.
What I can do?

I have an edirol UA-101 usb sound card.
I tried to install alsa on my ubuntu 7.10, and I can hear some sound on my card.
But I can't use the 10 input and 10 output channels...
Alsamixer says that there aren't mixer elems on card, Gnome-Alsa-Mixer doesn't
recognize this card, and I can't record
