anyone know what problems or benefits disabling acpi has ? any side-effects
for apic or xt-pic? any differences with 32 bit v 64 bit ?

seems that my pcm_multi array ( 3 c-ports) clicks with lan activity. just
scp'ing a file will cause random clicks in the audio during playback and not
create x-runs.. i'm confused by this as all the pci cards (intel gig nic,3
ice1712 cards and 2 nvidia gpu's) are all on individual irq's using
using 3 c-port cards (ice1712) with pcm_multi and netjack i get click after
click after click. i can't get any response from torben as to weather his
soft should work or not with pcm_multi...maybe he's on holidays. anyone here
shed some light on this ? any tools to find where these could be comi

sorry for being so dumb. but I just can't get my head around getting 2
cards installed under RH9 using Planet CCRMA with the latest kernel.
I've used alsaconf but it only does one at a time, I have a Hoontech
C-Port (ice1712) and a Terratec XFire (CS46xx)... any help appreciated.

Can I install a MOTU Midi-Flyer midi interface using LPT ? I am quite
green at this, so any help would be appreciated. I have connected
it, but of course it was not found or installed. Is it possible ?
What would I need to do .
