Hi, I'm developing an 8 channel recorder based on alsa0.9.0beta10 and a
Terratec EWS88mt sound card.
I'm now using a 2.4.18 kernel with the Andrew Morton patches applied. I
really want to be able to record/playback at the full 96k 24bits on all
8 channels simultaneously, but I need absolutely no u
FWIW I have had exactly the same experience, I thought it was something I was doing
wrong, but perhaps not. Does anyone have the
EWS88MT working?

Hi, I've managed to install 0.9.0 beta 7 but when I now aplay a file
that played okay previously with 0.5.11 it just plays out as white
noise. Can anyone tell me what I've done wrong?

ions since v2 but so far had no luck. Beta 8 is the best as it
actually compiles and installs, but any attempt to modprobe any snd-card
modules just hangs. Can anyone help me to get either or even both of
these things working?
I would be extremely grateful!
