Hi.
It looks like since kernel 3.1 I can't capture anything from laptop
internal microphone. Rebooting back to 3.0.x fixes issue.

Hi. I'm trying to figure, why I can' record any sound with my M673 laptop.
Tried both internal microphone and external one. Tried to adjust all
settings in alsamixer.
After turning on "Mic" (it was muted by default) I can hear my voice in
speaker, but nothing is recorded by alsamixer.

Hi.. I've just upgraded my kernel to 2.6.24 which includes ALSA 1.0.15.
There is some alsa-relative line in my current dmesg:
hda_intel: azx_get_response timeout, switching to polling mode: last
cmd=0x00cb8000
This is on-board nVidia HDA audio on MSI laptop.
