Hi, using 'cvscompile', I am seemingly unable to install alsa-libs on Gentoo
Linux. Here is the output from the cvscompile script, when ran in the
alsa-lib directory:
aserver.o(.text+0xe5f):/root/Downloads/alsa-cvs-temp/alsa-lib/aserver/aserver.c:478:
undefined reference to `snd_pcm_avail_updat
You can use 'alsamixer' in the console, and press 'M' to unmute boxes. Uses
up/down cursor keys to adjust volume accordingly.

As soon as I upgraded, on Gentoo, from ALSA 0.9.0 RC6 to ALSA 0.9.0 RC7, my
Turtle Beach Santa Cruiz card stopped working altogether, from just being
able to use the front two speakers in RC6.
Any help? ;)
