I have a official 7.1ch TrueHD sound check file that has a person
speak out the channel names clearly but when outputting to my receiver
as pcm the following channels are mixed up
"right surround" with "right rear surround"
and
"left surround" with "left rear surround"
How can I modify this asoun
With the new 1.0.23 release my hdmi audio has started working but
requires quirks that I was hoping could be fixed

Here is what I figured out. Off a clean boot of the system the

I thought of another test removing and inserting the module and
checking the dmesg output
sudo rmmod snd-hda-intel

In my laptop I have a built in sound card that worked perfect in
1.0.21 and a Nvidia video card with hdmi audio out that is supposed to
be supported as of the new 1.0.22 version.
