I believe I was using bios 2aa3, but I upgraded to 2aa5 and I'm
listening to music as I write this. Perhaps an irq issue, or some other
resource. I don't know what else to tell you except maybe a faulty
sound chip. Wish I could help more.

Hello all
I've been trying for about a week now to get cmipci to output 5.1 sound.
In xine or mplayer I get very bassy distortion. 2 speakers work fine,
as does the mirrored rear speaker setting in the mixer, but I'd like
more than that. Help would be greatly appreciated.
