[Alsa-user] arecord hangs on via82xx

Hello, I've installed alsa-1.0.4 and am trying to record a test message from a mic. When I enter arecord test.wav, nothing is recorded and an empty wav file is created consisting of a header and no data. Any ideas? Thanks Chris --- This SF.

[Alsa-user] 1.0.4 capture problem with via82xx driver

Hello, I'm running kernel 2.4.25, alsa 2.0.4 and the via82xx driver and using using an 8233 onboard sound chip. Playback works fine. Capture produces continuous popping with no other recoredsound. Any ideas. Perhaps I'll take a look at the module parameters. Thanks Chris
