hi. im using the 2.5.75 kernel with alsa compiled into the kernel (also
PREEMPT=y). i'm doing RTAUDIO under csound.deb package (this is a deb woody
machine).
the thing is, is that when the cpu load gets too intensive, the computer
hangs, i'm wondering if anyone has any ideas as to where i shoul
i took a look at /proc, and everything seems ok: cat /proc/ioports doesn't
show anything in the 0x500 range.
i've compiled and recompiled the kernel and alsa drivers something like 15
times now, and i'm really hitting a block. anyone ever have this problem?

hi, i've just compiled and installed a 2.4.9 kernel with the low latency
patch, and am trying to get alsa sound to work. alsa starts up fine (i get
the /proc/asound dir ok), but when i do a modprobe:

hi, i read in the asla faq that alsa supports 2.2.x kernels. does this
exclude 2.4.x kernels?
i recenlty compiled the 2.4.9 kernel with the Low latency patch on a RH 6.1
distro.
