Hi, Has anyone tried to use the coaxial S/PDIF in on the "Trust Sound Expert Optical" sound card? (I am _not_ talking about the s/pdif CD connector). If so, was it successfull or not? The input does not seem to work for me, not even in loop back mode. The optical input works fine. I have not p

Hi, I just bought a new sound card based on the CMI8738 chip. If I select the "IEC958 Loop" flag the S/PDIF input is routed to S/PDIF output as it is supposed to be. Also, I am able to play mp3 files through S/PDIF out. But: I am not able to record the S/PDIF input. Example: -- #arecord -D spd
