ok into this and it seems that asound.h in my
/usr/src/alsa-driver-0.9.0beta11/alsa-kernel/include/
is not the same as that in
/usr/include
I then had a look through the install output for the driver and there was no
mention of the include directory or even the alsa-kernel directory.
Why is this?
often get a similar ring when watching some documentries
and other features on DVD's on another computer.
Any suggestions on how to prevent this would be appreciated.
