Hi Rich, crackeling seems to be a wordclock problem. For your multiface you should install alsa-tools (ftp://ftp.alsa-project.org/pub/tools/). There you find hdspconf. This tool makes it easy to set the sampelrate and the master/slave configuration. My multiface works with 44,1 and 48. Regar
