is good, i'm using the good alsa device (hw 0,1) and the
module is well configured (i guess), so the obvious errors are out.
Another thing, it worked for a while and then stopped after (i'm not
so sure what triggered it) a system update (i'm using de
o the external amplifier. I check
the levels with alsamixer and it looks ok (IEC958 Coaxial at 100%).

It actually used to work and stoped for an unknown reason...

Hi,
What benefits will I get by using the Alsa plugin for XMMS rather than
the OSS output plugin? I have a C-Media PCI CMI8738 (model 37) card if
that makes a difference.
