alsa loopback is a virtual soundcard, you should set your system to use
like it was a real sound card (by editing your .asoundrc file).

I can't record from my soundcards because there is no stereo mix option on it.
can I send the output from the card to the alsa loopback and record that?
I want to record Everything from my snd-hda-intel card.
