Have you run alsamixer? I wouldn't aggravate over the chipset until you established it doesn't work.

so I see all the cool things with alsa but i still cant find my chip set for my gaming headphones. i bought the *sades a6* and it had a c-media chip in it. (that how its read by linux at least.) i think it might be the* cm6206 or cm6210* chip set but to be honest i have no idea. Im sorry if this i
