I tried making this motherboard's sound chipset work with the
sound/pci/hda drivers found here:
http://ppa.launchpad.net/ubuntu-audio-dev/alsa-daily/ubuntu/pool/main/o/oem-audio-hda-daily-lts-wily-dkms/oem-audio-hda-daily-lts-wily-dkms_0.201603011718~ubuntu14.04.1.tar.gz
...on
Linux xxx 4.5.0-r
Incidentally, I posted this on alsa-devel, but I had not posted it on
this list:
http://www.alsa-project.org/db/?f=6373811de293125e4e8c345c0c2d4a736c1fc2b8
However, that was with the f7g version of the BIOS, which is marked
"beta". I went back to the latest non-beta BIOS (f6), which disabled
Perhaps I'm succumbing to a rookie maneuver, but I don't seem to be able
to find the git archive with the latest alsa.
I'd like to work with that in getting my mobo to work (and indeed, maybe
my mobo works with the very latest code!).
Where does one find the archive?
Thank you. :)
