Hi,
I found a way to run the dbmeasure tool (
http://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Software/PulseAudio/Backends/ALSA/Decibel )
to record the dB levels for my USB sound card. I now have a CSV file
with the true levels of each of the volume steps. Can someone help me
with how I can incorporate this into
P.S. Well, I'm gathering this card isn't made anymore!

But now, after a few days acting finicky -- playing only
some MIDI files but not others -- the system is emitting
no sounds at all.
If I run "speaker-test", or aplay on any of t
