Hi,
I have a problem with on VT1708S CHIP. The front speaker doesn't work.
I tried change all values at alsa-mixer, gnome-alsa-mixer,
ubuntu-sound-properties, but nothing.
I used hda-analyzer, from alsa project, to analyze better, but I didn't find
a clue.
I tested with command:
speaker-test -
I found the issue. The following line in .asoundrc was causing the
error:
pcm.!default {
type plug
slave.pcm "clone_output"
}
As far as I can tell because the above is a "plug" inside another
"plug" (from here):
pcm.clone_output {
