Hi, I've had problems lately with recent kernels 2.6.37 and later, but
haven't been able to pinpoint a specific change with git-bisect.
MIDI playback either through xmms or aplaymidi won't keep regular time,
sounding weird going faster and slower under any kind of system load
except when nothin

Thanks for the help so far. I will use the onboard card for general
sound and the M2496 for Jack. I have read two sound cards is a good way
to be able to have pulse and Jack running on the same box. I have
learned from the Internet how to get Jack started. A couple of small
config details and Jack
