Hi! I'm having trouble getting surround sound working with my M Audio Delta 1010LT over S/PDIF. When I run: > speaker-test -Dplug:surround40 -c4 -l1 -twav It seems that all channels have been mixed into my two front speakers, no sound on my two rear speakers. I have tried playing movies via mplay

[Alsa-user] Volume is not stored with USB telephone receiver

I use an USB Cypress Semiconductor Corp. Telephone Receiver When I open alsamixer I cannot change the volume. With Kmix there is a change, but the display "jumps" back to full volume. How can I get a lower default volume? I have to change the volume every time, when I receive a call. Hardware
