My sound card, an Audiotrak Prodigy HD2, has alphanumeric name "HD2".
qjackctl tells me that it has subdevices 0 ("Audiotrak Prodigy HD2"),
0.0 ("ICE1724"), and 0.1 ("ICE1724 IEC958"). Right now I am using the
alphanumeric name "hw:HD2" as device name in qjackctl, it has given me

I got alsa-drivers install which gave me aloop. Great.
I've tried scores of .asoundrc's with no luck building one that would
allow an aplay or mplayer music stream to be hear-able during a

I'm trying to get sound working on my Dell Inspiron 910 netbook. It has
an Intel 82801G (ICH7 Family) High Definition Audio Controller (rev 02).
I have compiled the alsa-driver-1.0.21 modules and they load with no
problem. Alsamixer works, I've unmuted all the levels and set them at
Hi list,
is there a possibility to use 2 Hammerfall cards at the same time?
