This is a pair of questions I posed a few weeks ago, although I didn't
get any response. I tried to work round it by switching to OSS4, but it
is too buggy to be usable on my hardware, so it looks like I'll need to
ask the same questions again unfortunately.

It makes sense for me because the stoopid ST + H6 is vaporware for most
parts of the world, and I need a high quality stereo + multi-channel
analogue-out card.
