it's my card!
i'm on a dell studio 1535 and my audio works on both outputs.
inputs are: mic (built-in, works) and line in (DOESN'T WORK!!!)
i'm now using alsa 1.0.17 (ubuntu)

Hi!
The Roland Fantom-G is a relatively new (2007) workstation from Roland. The
workstation is not yet supported by the current alsa release.
I've managed to tweak the usbquirks.h to get it working.
I am posting to the list to know if I can contribute (and how) with my
patch.
