I got it working, I just had to update alsa to version 1.0.17
It there is anybody else who has an HP dv7-1018eg notebook with no sound and
can't wait for Fedora 10:
You just have to update alsa, it is really easy:
The first thing you have to do is to update your lib

2.6.22.5 and gcc 4.1.2.
Installation worked well but now aplay generates a seg fault.
