The platform on which I am trying to perform ALSA playback and record with USB
sound device is based on a MIPS CPU running Linux kernel 2.6.14. The kernel
uses non-coherent DMA in the configuration:

I have 5-6 DOS (386/486) machines to replace with one or more
linux machines to record audio [radio stations via analogue mic/line-in].
Currently one DOS machine records two stations (left/right channels),
one hour into a ~33MB(!) file, with ADPCM compression using

the folder /proc/asound/card0/pcm0p is not there any more. I need this folder,
because I would like to use this command to solve the Problem of using
Teamspeak together with some game:
