I have come to the conclusion that if the built-in audio will ever be
supported, it will be awhile and I need a working audio device in the
meantime.
Can anyone provide advice pro or con regarding the Turtle Beach
Montego DDL sound card listed at this link?

Hi!
Not really insight suggestions: But if you can negotiate with PCI try the
M-Audio delta series. I've got a delta 1010lt and it works great. There are
smaller models, the delta44 and delta66.
They have XLR, chinch and digital I/O and MIDI in/out.
My card cost about 300 EUR (about 6 years

Hi, I'm looking for a good interface to use with some various recording
equipment I have handy. I'll be using the interface exclusively with
alsa/jack.
Here's what I need:
1) XLR input(s)
2) 1/4" Line input(s)
3) 1/4" Instrument (Guitar/Hi-Z) input(s)
Here's what I'd like:
4) Headphone output
5)

hi list,
i own a MSI board, K9AGM2, with north bridge S690G/690V and a SB600
south bridge. the soundcard is integrated into the SB600. see lspci
output below. my question is, how complete is the driver for the HDMI
part. if i select it in alsamixer, i already get a device: Generic 1002
ATI RS69
Hi.
I would like, if possible, only a short and quick answer: has the terratec phase
28 any capturing capabilities with alsa driver?
I'll appreciate a lot a short answer, too.
Thanks a lot.

Not sure about the voltage. But things like electric guitar need high-Z (high
impedence). In the Mega Ohms. As opposed to your standard microphone preamp
that only has a few Kilo Ohm
