I wanna buy a firewire soundcard (or USB if else comes up), that has spdif.
All I really demand is SPDIF, external card and good quality.
Can anyone suggest something that matches this description?

I'm having trouble setting up my M-Audio Audiophile 24/96 card for
capture. I can capture from it but not set the volume.
I've setup the card with Envy24Control as follows. ADC and DAC controls
are set to max. Patchbay has digital mix on both outputs. Incoming
analog signals are on H/W in
