I purchased a DIY external DAC that shows up in dmesg as:
[64233.769968] usbcore: registered new interface driver snd-usb-audio
I can redirect my XMMS sound to it by switching the ALSA audio device to
hw:1,0 (Burr-Brown Japan PCM2702: USB Audio).
But, I would still like the sound redire
