we are trying to use a micronas usb chipset with alsa in debian stable
it works ok with pcm default. (record and listen perfectly), but when we
try to use it with some dsnoop/dmix plugin, the application segfault.

Hi.
I'm succesfully using a TerraTec Aureon 7.1 Universe but there are still
some problems especially when playin multiple sounds together.
I'm using Debian sid under GNOME (thus esd is mostly running and
blocking (???) the alsa devices. I have connected a 7.1 speaker system.
