Title says it all. I got a laptop (Dell Vostro) and it has an Intel ICH8M
chipset with a Sigmatel codec and I don't get any sound out of it. It always
uses the "dummy" soundcard. I compiled all the "intel" stuff in the kernel
but this doesn't seem to help. Google doesn't turn up much either.
