Hello,
I've got an issue with the M-Audio Revolution 5.1 card. Basically, I can
only get it to output 2.0 stereo; the LFE, center, and surround channels
are silent.
ALSA 1.0.13, OpenSUSE 10.1 stock RPMs.
I ran alsaconf and configured the card with the ice1724 driver (I
previously had an onboard

Hello,
Is it possible to define the removable card as the default in a system with
a permanent, internal card and a removable (ie, USB) one? I know about
passing 'index=i' to the driver modules, but I am having a hard time
figuring out how to use that mechanism when one of the cards is removable.
Hello,
I am using a Turtle Beach Audio Advantage Micro
(http://www.turtlebeach.com/site/products/audioadv/micro/) with the
snd-usb-audio driver (alsa 1.0.13). The card works (my thanks to the devs!),
but without a asound.conf file dmix does not work: when trying to run
$ aplay test.wav

G'day mate,
I installed latest ALSA-drivers, but headphone doesn't produce any sound
nor the hadphone switch mutes my speaker. Speakers have sound all the
time. Just nothing happens when I plug in my headphone. (BTW: headphone
switch works under windows).
Unfortunately, I already logged a b
Hi!
Big progress here! I got my mic to work, I was able to record stuff and
I *think* that I was able to seperate left and right channel. I'm not
sure how to test it though...
Here's what I added to my asoundrc file:
pcm.recording {
typedsnoop
ipc_key 2589
slave {
