i recompiled the alsa-driver with "./configure --with-debug=basic" (i think i
recognized thats the same as the kernel-config CONFIG_SND_DEBUG

to onboard audio for several days with no success. I've tried clean installs
of 64-bit versions of Debian Sarge (kernels 2.6.12 and 2.6.15.4) and Fedora

still aren't resolved.
And I can't use envy24control, for I'm blind. But alsamixer worked before. I
