Hey folks,
I'm having a strange problem with the Alsa mixing controls and my Sound
Blaster Live (original) card. I searched the board for an answer but could
find none.
I use different programs on differnet occasions (KMix, Freevo, Xine, Mplayer)

There is the snd-mtpav driver which should work for the Micro express,
too.

Some entries haven't been updated for a long time.
I don't know if the driver actually works, though.
I'm starting up several alsaplayers on different devices like this:
alsaplayer -d channel12 ...
alsaplayed -d channel34 ...
sometimes I can get it to work just fine, but other times I get corrupt

far as I can tell, it's limited to the main hw device(s), but I can't
think of any reason why it would be needed for anything else.

Hi,
The sb16.o module isn't compiling in CVS. There aren't any warnings or
errors, the only indication that anything's wrong is when I try to load
the modules. It tells me it can't find sb16.o, and it's right, it's not

Thanks as always,
