For some reason, everytime I reboot my system the sound from the headphone
output is lost. I am sure I enabled it with "alsamixer" (set everything to
unmuted and max output but mixer mono). i've "saved" the settings with "alsactl
store" and the contents of /etc/asound.conf look alright to m
Ok, the P4PE manual says that Line Out should be front, Microphone
should be rear, and Line In should be center/LFE when the codec is in
6-channel mode. The question now is how to get it into 6-channel mode
i guess. What program are you using to output 6-channel media to it?
(xine, mplayer, etc)

and kernel 2.4.23pre6 I use this kernel because i´ve got new hardware :(
