I'm looking for help with a problem I seem to be having with an ice1712
card using mmap.
I am unable to use mmap access for the card. For example, using xmms, I
have to uncheck the mmap option for sound.
Does anyone have any advice on how to solve this issue- or even if this

I'm looking for a soundcard which is about 20 Eur, has good recording
capabilities (1 mono + 1 stereo channel is ok), and of course is supported
by alsa?
(I bought a cmi8738-based card, but recording is very poor. so i`m looking
for a new one.)
