hello list, i'm still having some trouble getting the EMI to work with alsa, and wondered if anyone might be able to help. i'm using 2.4.19 debian sid with alsa 0.9.6 on a powerbook g3 500. all modules are properly loaded, included the emi 2|6 firmware loader, and the card shows up fine in /p

Okay, well I installed ALSA today... works good, I get sound at least! However, there seems to be a 'small' problem... amixer and alsamixer do not seem to be working! I can mute stuff and unmute things, and still get sound... and yes, I am sure that it's using ALSA, because if I run alsasound stop,
