[Alsa-user] CD Output

I'm running alsa for a Hoontech Soundcard (ICE1712 [Envy24]) which has ten outputs - 8 on the external unit and 2 on the PCI card. I'm running RH7.2. When I play CDs the sound comes out of the PCI card's output. How can I configure alsa (or something else) to send the audio to another output? M
