I am having problems recording using alsa-09rc1 and cmi-pci card, with oss
modules loaded.
At first I thought I was getting empy .wav files when I tried to record using
either arecord or ecasound, but I found out that if I turned the
amplification up on my speakers to where a normal sou

Thanks to Jose's help, I was able to get the snd-es18xx mod to load for alsa
0.9. Problem is, it doesn't seem to work.
